We look forward to welcoming Peter Machan back to Portland Works following his Loxley Valley lecture last year. Peter is a well-known speaker and author on topics of Sheffield’s local history, and he has a master’s degree in the subject. His talk will strike a chord with Portland Works as we are home to a number of “Little Mester” trades spanning plating, forging, smithing and cutting (that’s what a cutler does!)
